Mine Surveyors to join our West Coast team to work on large projects and travel far and wide across Western Australia.

What will you do?
You will undertake a variety of surveying work as per client's requests, manage day-to-day aspects of your projects including client interaction, fieldwork, calculations, safety management and the quality assurance of all work as well as other tasks including:

  • Undertake Open Pit / Underground mine surveys
  • Work with clients to achieve production and safety targets
  • Run surveys in an efficient and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of job progress
  • Implement control documents for all specified tasks (e.g., JHA/JSA, SOPs)
  • Maintaining professional development and training
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities
  • Provide seamless handovers for the incoming crew

What you need to succeed
As well as having a no problems just solutions attitude, you will need:

  • Minimum Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying
  • Preferably 2 years+ underground and/or open cut mine surveyor experience
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
  • Manual drivers licence
  • Software experience in Surpac, Deswik, Vulcan, Pix4d, Agisoft etc
  • Experience in control installation best practice and experience in survey checks and network adjustments
  • Hardware experience with Leica or Trimble Total Stations and DJI or Phantom drones/UAVs, GPS, Scanning
  • Customer service skills with technical proficiency

It would be an advantage to have:

  • Experience with Scanning
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • 4WD Training Course
  • RPAS License (Multi Rotor and/or Fixed Wing)
