The Opportunity:


We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an Early Careers/Graduate Recruitment Consultant to join in Sydney on a 14 month fixed term contract basis.


As an Early Careers/Graduate Recruiter with Ashurst you'll manage the full life cycle of our Clerkship and Graduate programs in our Canberra office including the annual recruitment process, onboarding and general HR duties.

This role will also support the Sydney Clerkship and Graduate programs and manage the national processes on behalf of the team.

As part of the role you will build trusted commercial relationships with key stakeholders in the Sydney and Canberra Partnership and university Law Societies to enable the success of the Ashurst brand and the Clerkship and Graduates program.

About you:


  • Previous experience in graduate recruitment is preferred.
  • Preferred experience in well recognised law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to manage difficult conversations.
  • Organised, conscientious, with strong attention to detail.
  • Personable and approachable style with an ability to communicate well at all levels.
