Ciaron Maher Racing are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our Sydney based team in Warwick Farm.

Role Responsibilities:

Coordinate transport for horses to and from CMR properties, races, trials, including arranging Trucks or Floats, and managing any travel itineraries.
Scheduling of all horse movements through consultation and direction of trainers.
Providing leadership and direction to our team of Drivers.
Resolving daytoday Driver challenges and monitoring Driver operations as first point of contact for any issues.
Organising outside transport for movement of horses and staff when required.
Maintain accurate and up to date records within PRISM.
Manage drivers and stable staff for horse movements and attendance at trials/race days, etc.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements for the care and transportation of horses, drivers, and stable staff.
Organisation of vehicle maintenance.
Knowledge of Industry Health & Safety obligations.
Liaise closely with Head Trainer, Assistant Trainer and Forepersons of all New South Wales sites.
Organise trial and race day gear (colours, gear sheets, ID cards, etc).
Manage Silks ensure they are organized, audited regularly and ordered when required.
Fulfil all stable returns for NSW & QLD.

Role Expectations:

Communicate constantly with Head Trainer, Assistant Trainer and Forepersons.
Be adaptable and flexible within the role. Positive attitude is expected.
Must have competent computer/IT skills
Provide clear communication on movements to drivers, stable staff and training team.
Be available to assist team with any questions or problems that may arise.
Previous experience in a similar role is required.
Strong communication skills are essential.
Necessary to be contactable over the weekends to manage movement alterations that sometime occur.
Excellent time management and organisational skills are needed in a fast paced work environment such as Ciaron Maher Racing.
