    Job description:


The Royal Hobart Hospital (RHH) is the State's tertiary referral centre and is also the primary teaching hospital for the University of Tasmania School of Medicine.

The Hospital provides most specialist medical services for the region or state.


This position will be attractive to a highly skilled and motivated medical professional who views challenges as opportunities and is driven by a passion to improve healthcare in the complex world of modern health systems.

The right applicant will play a key role in developing health care at both patient and system levels.


Salary


A remuneration package comprising the Agreement base salary, relevant allowances and other entitlements will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on clinical experience and seniority.

Multiple permanent, full-time, and part-time day work positions available, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from February 202- _Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicants_

Essential Requirements

  • Specialist or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia in a relevant specialty
- _Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered._


The Position Features

  • Consultation and patient review services, when clinically appropriate, are from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to17:00 hours.


The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‐employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
