Focus on early, timely and personal face to face claims management, helping injured workers return to work and supporting their employers.


Bring across your customer service skills and in return, you will be fully trained to support a portfolio of injured workers who need your ongoing support.

As a Mobile Claims Specialist, you will provide high quality early intervention and specialised service to workers and employers through personalised face-to-face assistance.

This role will enable you to facilitate effective workplace-based co-ordination of a timely and safe return to work that benefits an injured worker's recovery and helps employers manage their worker's compensation obligations.

The Mobile Claims Specialist focuses on positively influencing a number of stakeholders.

This will be a
permanent position commencing
immediately based in the
Adelaide office.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and drive RTW plans in conjunction with a variety of stakeholders to ensure RTW outcomes
  • Collaborate with claims specialists, liability specialists & other technical and support experts to manage a portfolio of claims
  • Conduct purposeful communitybased visits inclusive of but not limited to worksites or medical clinics on initial triage of a claim and at significant milestones during the life of the claim
  • Provide accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand (including options about any claim, entitlements, obligations & responsibilities). This includes ensuring both parties have an understanding of diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and capacity.

  • Excellent communication skills face to face, over the phone and in writing
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and work closely with a wide range of customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Excellent customer service skills including the ability to consider the needs of a customer in a holistic way, and ability to remain impartial and meet the needs of both employer and worker
  • Provide personalised and tailored solutions
  • Ability to show empathy and understanding
  • Proven ability to influence and negotiate outcomes
  • Empower and encourage accountability

  • Current driver's license
