Are you passionate about environmental health? Are you wanting to be part of a team that is innovative and community focussed?

Council are seeking a suitably experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to provide technical support to the Environmental Health team, with a focus on Councils Domestic Wastewater Management plan.

Your role will also assist with environmental health functions including:

  • public swimming pools
- food and water sampling
- nuisance investigation
- tobacco control
- health premise investigations
- community sharps program
- health education to the community


ABOUT YOU
To be successful, you will have

  • Qualifications in compliance investigations, health education or similar
  • Experience in the environmental health field, knowledge of environmental, public health, local government and relevant legislation and policies
  • Well developed communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good computer skills
