Are you passionate about environmental health? Are you wanting to be part of a team that is innovative and community focussed?

Council are seeking a suitably experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated person to provide technical support to the Environmental Health team, with a focus on Councils Domestic Wastewater Management plan.

Your role will also assist with environmental health functions including:

public swimming pools

- food and water sampling
- nuisance investigation
- tobacco control
- health premise investigations
- community sharps program
- health education to the community

ABOUT YOU
To be successful, you will have

Qualifications in compliance investigations, health education or similar
Experience in the environmental health field, knowledge of environmental, public health, local government and relevant legislation and policies
Well developed communication skills both written and verbal
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good computer skills
