Join Stockland's Community Finance team as a Finance Reporting Analyst, where you can leverage your passion for data analytics and automation to make an impact.

We are currently seeking a talented and driven individual to contribute to our reporting transformation program and drive reporting solutions that align with our business goals.


The Opportunity - About the Role


As a Finance Reporting Analyst, you will have the opportunity to drive solution design, platform governance initiatives, and process improvements across finance and the business.

You will collaborate with various business groups throughout the organization, working directly with finance and business users to guide their solutions and implement best practices.


Your daily responsibilities will include:


  • Develop, embed, and maintain selfservice analytics primarily through Power BI dashboards that align with Stockland's business goals.
  • Undertake adhoc analysis to support financial and strategic decisionmaking (e.g., BU performance, investment decisions, transactions, system effectiveness, etc
  • Create, manage, and prioritize requirements using agile practices such as sprints and user stories.
  • Embed analytics tools by consulting with stakeholders and driving the integration of data into business processes and decision points.
  • Collaborate with similar analytics and reporting functions, such as Data Science & Insights and Sales Operations, to ensure consistency and best practices in reporting throughout Stockland.
  • Ensure data integrity.
  • Identify issues, suggest process improvements, and problem solve across Finance.
  • Prepare consistent and timely reports to monitor key performance drivers, assisting key stakeholders in interpreting data and trends in line with performance targets.

About You


To be successful in this role, you should bring a strong learning mindset and a keen interest in analytics and reporting technologies.


The following qualifications and skills are required:

  • Proven experience in data analysis, data science, or working in a data analyst position using SQL and DAX.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in Power BI (or equivalent) workspace management and app publications.
  • Ability to take ownership of reporting solutions from inception to completion, demonstrating a proactive and selfstarting approach
  • Understanding of key metrics and commercial drivers of profitability.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Curiosity when investigating data and asking insightful questions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Applied knowledge of cloud data warehouses such as Redshift and AWS (Amazon Web Services).
  • Strong visualization and storytelling skills.
  • Property experience, although not essential, will be highly regarded
