Account Executive - Workers Compensation

An opportunity exists for an experienced workers' compensation professional who is responsible for delivering quality Workplace Risk and Workers' Compensation advice and services to clients, including managing key existing clients' programs and identifying new business opportunities for the company.

Reporting to the QLD Workplace Risk State Manager.

the primary focus of this role will be to provide an innovative and flexible approach to our client's workplace risk programs, recommending solutions and working with them to achieve sustainable improvement in their performance.


The Role

  • Manage clients' workplace risk programs, ensuring the delivery of highquality services
  • Providing Outsourced Return to Work support services for a range of clients
  • Maintaining comprehensive client data and updating accordingly
  • Producing analytical written reports for clients
  • Completing premium renewals and policy placement of national workers' compensation insurance
  • Undertaking premium forecasting
  • Maximising the revenue generated from the existing client base by continual analysis of client profitability and maximization of group functions
  • Support WTW to seek and secure new business opportunities through crossselling of broader WTW service offerings
  • Adhering to all compliance and business processes

The Requirements

  • Previous experience in a workers' compensation role, or similar within an insurance or selfinsurance environment preferably in Queensland.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of workers' compensation claims principles and processes, and ideally how these vary by state
  • The ability to identify key policy/premium influencing factors and provide support to the claims process
  • Strong Microsoft Office / Excel skills
  • Excellent report writing and correspondence skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to provide clear explanation to clients when required
  • A customercentric approach to work
  • Proactive time management skills and a proven record of prioritising workloads and meeting deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience delivering accurate services on time to ensure service and quality standards are met
