Job Description:
As a Rehabilitation Consultant with IPAR, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day with the ongoing support and mentoring from discipline specific leaders and managers.
- Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
- Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
- Providing evidencebased psychological interventions
- Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical skills. Including but not limited to Initial assessments to form a diagnosis, treatment plans, psychosocial barriers to employment and Vocational Assessments for injured workers.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Health Sciences or Rehabilitation Counselling
- Full or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) as a Rehabilitation Counsellor is mandatory
- A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the associated health benefits
- A current driver license and access to their own vehicle
