The Position:

An exciting opportunity for a confident and experienced IT Service Desk Manager to join our IT team.

This role will work closely with internal business stakeholders to ensure issues are managed appropriately and resolved in a timely manner.


The Service Desk Manager is responsible for managing two Service Desk Operators and delivering timely and quality IT support to the Prixcar business nationally.

This role will involve handling tickets escalated from the L1/L2 operators, managing the deployment of new hardware within the business, and keeping up-to-date with IT administration requirements.


What you will do:


  • Lead and mentor the Service Desk team in providing high level service to the business
  • Liaise with vendors and thirdparty providers for escalations to resolve ICT issues
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT support services
  • Drive IT related continual improvement including cost savings and efficiency improvements

What you will bring:


  • Bachelor Degree of Information Technology or suitable qualification
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Indepth knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack, including Windows operating systems, Office 365, and related tools
  • Ability to provide effective leadership skills in a complex, rapidly changing organisation
  • Ability to lead and deliver IT related projects and continual improvements
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Customercentric individual who can handle stressful situations in a professional and effective manner
