About the team and role


The People & Culture (P&C) Team are seeking a passionate and energetic recruiter with strong in-house recruitment and student recruitment experience, who is looking for an opportunity to further develop their career.


Working closely with the other members of the Talent Acquisition team, this role will manage and drive end-to-end recruitment of a variety of legal and legal support roles within the VGSO.

This position will also ensure all recruitment policies and processes applicable to VGSO are reflective of best practice, enable a positive employee experience, and remain relevant for VGSO to achieve its objectives

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage endtoend recruitment activities across the organisation, including oversight of our Seasonal Clerkship and Law Graduate Programs
  • Ensure the organisation is compliant with internal processes / legislative frameworks and offer best practice recruitment advice and solutions
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Maintaining accurate reporting of recruitment activity to support talent acquisition insights
  • Participating in and contributing to other strategic recruitment initiatives and project

Skills and experience

  • Previous internal / inhouse recruitment experience
  • Welldeveloped relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Proven track record of providing service excellence and continuous improvement
  • Ability to share VGSO's value proposition to increase and strengthen its brand in the market
  • Experience in high volume Student/Graduate recruitment programs will be highly regarded
  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline will be highly regarded
