About the role
In the process of building our products, we are excited to run the Shopfitting Apprenticeship program, and we are looking for an Apprentice Shopfitter to join our growing team.
Working with qualified and skilled fitters, you will be taught all areas of the factory and onsite methods to develop into a skilled and qualified shopfitter.
As an apprentice, your duties and learnings will include:
- Assembly, fit-outs, repairs & onsite installs
- Structural & nonstructural fabrications
- Working with machinery
- Engineering drawings
- Maintaining the workshop in a clean and safe manner
- Teamwork
To be successful you will need to have the following:
Must Have:
- High level of attention to detail
- Excellent attendance history
- Ability to work with others and take directions
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Desire and respect to learn new things
- Experience in using all types of hand tools & relevant electrical equipment
- Able to read engineering drawings and work instructions
- Physically fit and capable
- Reliable, punctual
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or have full working rights.
