UGL Defence has recently been awarded the contract to manage the Defence fuel related Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance.We are recruiting E&I Technicians to join our Operations & Maintenance team in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.
This is a unique opportunity to join a long-term, operations and maintenance contract, within the defence sector. Work with a Tier 1 services provider, alongside an established crew of experienced technicians.The Role
Reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be based at one of our sites in Sydney, supporting the Sydney basin, with occasional regional travel across WA.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and service of fuel installation assets and equipment
- Diagnostics and repair in a breakdown environment of fuel related assets and equipment
- Project work as required on the fuel installation and related assets and equipment
- Support subcontracted work packages as required
- Support various sites in the Sydney basin, with occasional requirement to travel to various sites throughout WA
You will be a strong team player, a self-starter and dedicated employee that will draw on your experience and diverse skills to deliver high quality outcomes for UGL and our customer.
- Cert IV Instrumentation and Agrade electrical licence with relevant post trade experience
- Proven experience working in fixed plant maintenance, ideally fuel services or Oil & Gas
- Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas (EEHA) trained required
- Confined space and working at heights tickets will be highly regarded
- Safety is at the forefront of everything you do
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
