**Operational Services Manager

**See yourself in our team: Within Delivery and Operations, the Operational Services Team partners with various Bankwest teams and stakeholders to provide effective operational support.

**Do the work that matters: As an Operational Services Manager y ou will inspire, lead, mentor and motivate a team of colleagues to deliver consistent, effective, agile operational support through a strong emphasis on coaching and mentoring.


You will actively work towards improving individual performance and development, whilst building great relationships with internal customers and stakeholders, along with positively driving continuous improvement within your team.

**The role would include, but is not limited to the following responsibilities: - Understand the risk landscape of your team and the teams you support to deliver sound decision making and judgment as well as effectively manage active risks.

  • Leading a team to deliver positive business outcomes through continuous improvement.
  • Understand and embed the leadership principles to drive a high performing and engaged team
  • Drive team performance through collaboration, coaching, providing feedback and coaching
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve operational processes and support across the business.
  • Actively seek internal and external customer feedback verbatim and leverage continuous improvement principles to drive cost effective business outcomes.
  • Producing accurate and timely financial reports, for internal and external use, in accordance with accounting standards.

  • Previous experience with leading highly effective teams
  • Customer obsessed, both internal and external
  • Ability to build and nourish strong key stakeholder relationships
  • Strong organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytic ability
  • Dynamic and adaptable to change
