An exciting opportunity has become available for a qualified Instrument Technician to join Maroondah CSSD on a permanent part time basis.

We provide a range of emergency, surgical, medical and general healthcare services, including maternity, palliative care, mental health, drug and alcohol, residential care, community health and state-wide specialist services to people and communities that are diverse in culture, age, socio-economic status, population and healthcare needs.

We are responsible for the reprocessing of reusable medical equipment for Surgery, Endoscopy and other areas of the hospital.

The CSSD team is skilled, friendly, supportive and dedicated to ensuring the highest standards in the reprocessing of medical equipment.

This will be an opportunity to develop your career in the sterilizing service.

About you

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Certificate3/4 in Sterilising Services

Experience in CSSD desirable

Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience

A strong commitment to high quality care

The ability to work as part of a diverse team

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Ability to work flexible rosters including weekends

Experience or knowledge of AS/NZS 4187 is desirable

Basic computer skills
