Shine People Solutions is an Aboriginal owned and operated business, we assist companies to expand their Indigenous workforce and recruit Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across all levels of business.


About the Company


We are currently seeking on their behalf Community Economic Development Manager's who provide tailored support to Indigenous Community Organisations (ICO) who want to own and operate businesses and create jobs for their families and Community Members.

The CED Manager works with the ICO to support their Community by building on existing strengths, knowledge and assets whilst increasing capability in governance, compliance, strategy and plans for business and employment goals.


About you:


  • Success with engaging and working with different government bodies, Indigenous Communities and other stakeholders in the region.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills, with exceptional stakeholder management experience.
  • Well
- developed business network and community relationships.

  • Commercial, owner/operator business experience.
  • Well
-developed financial literacy, including the interpretation and use of financial statements and financial management tools.

  • Coaching, mentoring and capacity building skills.
  • Previous experience working with Indigenous people in a remote location is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in Indigenous corporate governance and working with Indigenous governing bodies is highly desirable.
  • A high degree of selforganisation and motivation, and the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
  • Proficient in the use of internet technology (Zoom and Teams), MS Office suite, previous experience with Client Management System is desirable.
  • Impeccable integrity, trust, respect, stewardship, strong cultural awareness and commitment to people in disadvantaged circumstances
  • Successfully complete preemployment checks including reference checks, Criminal History check, Equifax Check and Working with Children/ Vulnerable People check.
