Our Advisory team is embarking on an exciting expansion journey in Work Health and Safety (WHS).

We have immediate growth opportunities available across NSW and as a Managing Consultant/NSW Regional Leader, you will play a pivotal role in leading a small, highly skilled team of WHS consultants.

Your leadership will be instrumental in meeting growing client demand with plans to quickly expand the team as we continue to make a positive impact across the State and the Pacific.


esponsibilities:


  • Provide leadership and coaching to the WHS Team, including direct and nondirect reports
  • Develop and support implementation of solutions for WHS and risk management obstacles to clients
  • Engage internally with Client Executives on strategies to support clients
  • Project Management oversight to ensure effective delivery of projects
  • Actively develop and generate new and expanded business opportunities
  • Meet revenue and profitability targets

Day-to-day this might include:


  • Internal resourcing management for client projects, including hiring and on boarding
  • Developing capabilities of consultants and directing workflow effectively to provide developmental opportunities and provide mentoring and coaching
  • Being an active member of the Workforce Strategies Senior Leadership team attending and participating in leadership meetings, executing on strategic initiatives, sharing and developing intellectual capital, and collaborating on best practices
  • Preparing accurate proposals and project plans, including tender responses
  • Recommending suitable strategies, approaches and options based on data analysis and collaboration
  • Delivering on client projects, either independently or managing a team
  • Actively identifying client needs and aligning to the broader Marsh and MMC services
  • Establishing effective internal relationships to promote cross selling opportunities
  • Acting as Project Manager and facilitating projects with processes and procedures
  • Ensuring accurate delivery of team's timekeeping, expense reporting and billing
  • Producing consulting revenues and closely monitoring the team's revenue
  • Debtor and utilisation rate management

What you need to have:


  • Strong WHS consulting experience, preferably in a lead role
  • Superior communication, client service, people management and project management skills
  • Thorough knowledge of WHS legislation and current issues in WHS
  • Tertiary degree in Health, Safety or any relevant field
  • Exemplar Global OHS auditor accreditation (desirable)
  • Current drivers licence and ability for some regional/interstate and overnight travel
