About this role:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a passionate BIM Manager and ArchiCAD guru to join a well-established, thriving Melbourne studio with a National offering.

The BIM Manager's role is to understand how ArchiCAD will effect project workflows and project management throughout the firm, working alongside one other in a similar capacity to provide expansive office support and training platforms.

Join a larger sized tier one practice well known for their great office culture and high quality work. Key sectors include multi-res, tower, commercial and mixed-use projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage software products incorporating new version releases and customisation of ArchiCAD
Be proactive in the improvement of BIM processes and standards
Provide extensive ArchiCAD training for new starters as well as ongoingly support others in improving their BIM skills
A hands on role you will be happy to set up models when needed and review systems, problem solve and answer questions
Work well with others and contribute to a positive team culture
Evaluate new BIM related software and technologies
Stay informed on other BIM related software and how they work with ArchiCAD
Provide group training as well as oneonone support to individuals in the team

Skills and Experience

Approx 8+ years past experience within an architectural practice including experience on large complex projects
Ideally trained as an architect or a technician
Experience with documentation using ArchiCAD
