About the Company

Our client works within a variety of medium to heavy industries including Government and power contracts based on the Northside of Brisbane.

Fabrication Supervisor
We are looking for a Fabrication Supervisor to work closely with the production Manager and the fabrication team.

Duties

Planning of each job and allocation of work throughout workshop
Conduct NDT inspections
Manage welding inspections, weld tests and confirm correct welding procedures
Report to the Production manager with work allocation
Ensure product quality processes are developed and followed
Assist welding coordination team to uphold business standards and provide regular feedback to employees

Skills & Experience Required

2+ years of supervisory experience within the welding industry
Trade Qualification
Welding certificates are very highly regarded.
AS 1796 cert 10 / AS 221
IIW/IWS / IIW/IWI-B
Strong organisation skills and able to manage priorities in a structured manner.
A knowledge & skill of welding procedures and a variety of materials
Capable of working with computer systems & Microsoft Office
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under pressure.
Dogman, Rigger, EWP of Forklift licences an advantage
