Our EnergyCo NSW Project Deliver team is currently seeking to appoint a Manager Safety & Assurance to offer specialised guidance to facilitate the creation, execution, and verification of EnergyCo's safety protocols.


The Manager Safety & Assurance will oversee relevant audit and assurance tasks to foster a robust safety ethos within the organisation.

Assigned by the Director Safety and Assurance, the manager will take the lead on specific workstreams and responsibilities, collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation and on all major EnergyCo infrastructure projects to ensure safety and assurance objectives are met.


About You
We're looking for skilled professionals experienced in audit and assurance programs as well as workplace health and safety reporting. Join us if you're dedicated to maintaining excellence, ensuring compliance, and fostering a culture of accountability.


Essential Requirements -

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Safety Management Systems and WHS assurance processes

Who we are?


EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of more than 14 gigawatts of new transmission capacity, coordinated with renewable energy and storage, including in five new REZs and two priority transmission infrastructure projects to date.


We are responsible for the on-ground infrastructure needed to bring new renewable energy online at the scale and speed to meet our transformation objectives in the _Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020_ and NSW Network Infrastructure Strategy.


January 2024 EnergyCo NSW joined the newly formed Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) which works to protect the state's environment and heritage.

It leads the way on climate change, driving the sustainable transition to a net zero economy, powered by affordable, reliable, and clean energy.


We acknowledge the ongoing custodial responsibilities of the Aboriginal peoples of NSW to care for Country and water and are committed to establishing meaningful partnerships with Aboriginal peoples in the management of the environment.
