About the role
Insta Scapes Planting is looking for a hardworking individual to join our team as the company grows.
The role involves planting street trees around the City of Sydney. This will be an ongoing project, providing full time hours for the next 5 months. There will be ongoing work after this project.

The entry position is as a casual landscaping labourer, with opportunities to step up to full-time/part-time in a leading hand role.

You will be earning an hourly rate of $32 per hour plus benefits, such as a travel allowance. A Company vehicle may be available for individuals who move into leading hand roles.

Casual entry position
Full availability Monday - Friday.

Immediate start.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Working in a team to install street trees around the City of Sydney
General labouring tasks such as; lifting, digging, moving of materials, set up and cleaning of sites

Role requirements
Equipment required for this role that you must have:

White Card
Drivers licence (provisional or unrestricted)

Your own vehicle (site locations vary, and there is a lot of driving to get to site, so everyone on the team needs to have their own reliable vehicle)

PPE (steel cap boots, long pants, wide brim hat, nonbranded long sleeve high vis top)
You will be provided with hard hat, safety glasses and gloves

To be suitable for this role you must be:

Reliable and hardworking

Willing to start early, the working day begins at 7:00am and we require our team to be on time

-Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads. This is a very physically demanding job

Able to communicate effectively, understand the tasks that need to be completed, carry them out with instructions given.
Able to plan the days tasks in order to be as efficient as possible.
Able to work independently, and as a part of a team.
Problem solver, not a problem maker. Take initiative and figure it out and get the job done.
Not be afraid to get dirty, its landscaping labour, you will get dirty, embrace it.
Willing and able to work in unfavourable weather conditions.
Enthusiasm about developing knowledge and an understanding for construction landscaping.
