Description

We are looking for a
Trade Assistant who will be responsible for helping and supporting our Glaziers in the assistance of job preparation, site preparation, delivery of glass to the site, and site clean-up.

This role is a fixed-term contract during our peak period, until the end of March 2023 where there may be an opportunity for extension or to join the team as an Apprentice Glazier.

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting Glaziers and Contractor Glaziers
General labouring assistance including team lifts of glass panels
Operating hand & power tools and preparing and cleaning worksites
Ensuring the required equipment and Glass and delivered to the site in a timely and safe manner
Undertaking and completing assigned tasks with mínimal supervision and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

You and your experience:

Ideally have experience in lifting and moving glass panels/glazing techniques
Current & valid C Class license (Automatic)
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Strong numeracy skills, ability to read, write, comprehend, and speak English clearly and concisely.
Ability to utilise a computer to order and process receipt of goods
