Service Technician


Service Technician Electrician, 5 Years' experience to trouble shoot, repair Electrical and PLC software and hardware faults for the leading manufacturing, material handling, mining and warehouse / distribution companies across Greater Sydney.

Arnotts, Booktopia, Coke etc


You will be on a 8 week roster and responsible for providing Remote and Onsite Client support to quickly respond, trouble shoot and rectify faults.


This is a great role for a Senior Technician who has strong Electrical and or PLC skills and who wants to join a family friendly high performance team.


Salary / Conditions
- to $120K + super
- + car + phone + laptop

  • Scheduled On Call roster once every 8 weeks
- $40 per day when On Call Allowance

  • Min 4 hours Call Out Paid at OT Rate
  • Paid OT
  • Monthly RDO

Main Duties

  • Repair, maintain, calibrate and ensure optimum performance of client sites.
  • Collaborate with the Electrical, Mechanical & Technical Support teams
  • Identify, resolve, and report systemic PLC / Electrical equipment faults or malfunctions.
  • Basic PLC / HMI understanding and ability to read Electrical drawings.
  • Diagnose and rectify Controls, PLC, Electrical, Instrument & Mechanical faults
  • Carry out planned and unplanned preventative maintenance.
  • Liaise with the team, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Ensure equipment always operates to optimum performance.

Qualifications / Skills

  • Full Australian Work Rights
  • Licenced Electrician (Aust Recognised)
  • 3 years PLC Siemens or Allen Bradley
  • 2 years service technician experience (desirable)
  • Ideally write / edit Ladder or Function Block
  • Industrial Controls PLC's, VSD, VFD's, HMI, Conveyors
  • Clear English written and verbal communication.
  • MUST HAVE FULL AUSTRALIAN WORKING RIGHTS
