The Opportunity:


We currently have an opportunity available for a Payroll Officer to join our team in Brisbane on a permanent basis.

Joining as the Payroll Officer you'll be responsible for delivering effective and seamless payroll support.

You will ensure appropriate payment, disbursement, checking and reconciliation procedures are undertaken in a timely manner and in line with legislative requirements.

About you:


  • Minimum of two (2) years' specific payroll experience preferably gained in a high volume work environment (500+ employees), including payroll processing, processing of termination pays, strong leave analysis and reconciliation skills, etc.
  • Comprehensive understanding and effective use of standard software packages (particularly Microsoft Excel) and systems.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and interpretation of current legislation which directly effect the payroll function i.e. tax legislation.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a highpressure environment.
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks and balance conflicting workloads and demands.
