The
Quality Assurance Officer role is designed to be fully functional in the 4-Day work week trial.


Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Quality Assurance Officer who will based in Minto. The role will conduct day-to-day laboratory testing of finished goods, semi-finished good and starting materials.

The Quality Assurance Office will monitor all critical and quality control points within the production lines for all products being manufactured.


Role Responsibilities will include the following but not limited to:

  • Conduct environmental and water testing
  • Conduct microbiological sampling and monitoring plan
  • Maintenance of testing lab consumables
  • Monitoring the concentration of disinfectants used on site
  • Conduct and organize the calibration and validation of lab equipment (balance,
- autoclave, FOSS equipment etc.)

  • Participate in Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) inspections and internal audits
  • Participate in traceability exercises as required
  • Investigate consumer complaints by liaising with cross functional teams and ensure
- respective action plans are in place

  • Review and update documents and support factory validations
  • Participate in Product Hold and Release management
  • Participate in Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Prerequisite plan (PRP) program

Does this sound like You

  • Relevant or Tertiary qualification in Food Science/Microbiology/other related Science
  • Quality Assurance (QA)/Quality Control (QC) Experience in food manufacturing /pharma company
  • Prior experience in HACCP is highly regarded
  • Highly motivated with high problemsolving skills and work independently
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced and everchanging environment
  • Strong time management, communication and problemsolving skills are required
  • It is desirable to have a current driving license, have access to car and willing to work in morning (from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM) and afternoon shifts (10:00 AM to 6:00 AM)
