We are employing casual Maintenance Officers (Handypersons) to complete general repairs, preventative and grounds maintenance tasks for a Residential Aged Care clients located in Inner East Suburbs and surrounding areas.


This role would suit someone who has good all-round trade knowledge and skills, can do a bit of this and a bit of that and who has a can do attitude.


Primary duties include:

  • General repairs (installing or repairing basic hardware, patching and painting)
  • Some grounds work (pressure cleaning pathways, maintain lawns and existing gardens)
  • Preventative maintenance (schedule checks to ensure safe operation of tools and equipment)

Selection criteria:

  • Similar previous experience (trade, handyperson, maintenance, DYI)
  • Knowledge of WHS requirements
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Reliable transport and a licence
  • National Criminal History Check (must provide)
  • Be fully Covid19 Vaccinated (must provide Covid 19 Vaccination digital certificate)

Salary:
$ $32.73 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

  • Overtime pay
  • Penalty rates
