About the role


The People & Culture Lead enables the achievement of MediRecords' strategic objectives by leading people and culture initiatives, building a high-performance culture and creating an amazing employee experience where people can grow, feel valued, be themselves and do their best work every day.

This role is a valued member of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO.


Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development and delivery of people and culture strategies that align with and enable the achievement of strategic objectives, supporting a highperformance culture.
  • Encourage a strategic approach to people and culture across the business, balancing new projects with continuous improvement activities as the People & Culture needs of the business mature.
  • Play a key role as ambassador for organisational culture and values, ensuring they are visible, embedded and upheld.
  • Lead Talent Acquisition processes, delivering best practice recruitment solutions that are aligned with business priorities and running recruitment campaigns endtoend.
  • Maximise leadership capability and ensure that leaders feel informed and supported on people matters.
  • Champion and embed a learning culture aligned with the capability needs of the business and the career paths of our employees.
  • Manage complex people issues including grievances, performance improvement, disciplinary matters, conduct and other investigations to support a healthy and productive working environment.
  • Lead and collaborate with the People & Culture Business Partner, providing mentorship, guidance and development opportunities to support career growth.

About you

  • A tertiary qualification in Human Resources will be highly regarded.
  • Significant experience working as a HR generalist, with exposure to and working knowledge of a depth and breadth of strategic and operational HR matters aligning with the responsibilities of this role, including responsibility for leading and developing others.
  • A business partnering approach to providing coaching and consultancy services across a broad range of people and culture functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster and maintain collaborative and trusted relationships at all levels, influencing and negotiating outcomes in support of business objectives.
  • Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity to lead through change and deliver results.
  • Applied knowledge and understanding of contemporary HR practices, workplace relations and compliance matters.
  • An authentic approach being receptive to feedback, confident to communicate with the broader business and committed to continuous improvement.
