YOUR ROLE

As VIC/TAS Operations Manager for our warehouses in both states, you'll manage the organic and future growth of our vehicle logistics business, ensuring we have a highly capable team, exceptional customer relationships, and strong commercial and safety results, amongst other things.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

Manage the daytoday operations associated with a warehouse environment
Forecasts requirements, manage profit/loss, schedule expenditure, analyse variances and initiate corrective actions to meet financial and operational objectives
Develop and maintain an engaged team and culture that centres on safety, service and operational excellence
Coach, develop and effectively manage team performance
Liaise with key customers around KPI reviews, audits and daytoday account / relationship management
Work to objectives around safety and environment, warehouse KPIs, Kaizen, LEAN, service delivery and related metrics.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?- Capability and experience in coaching, developing and engaging individuals and teams

Sound commercial and financial acumen and analytical skills
Experience and/or knowledge of enterprise agreements, labour planning and/or industrial relations
Excellent communication, stakeholder /customer management and planning skills
Possesses effective financial, analytical and critical reasoning
Continuous improvement mindset and understanding of foundational / advanced tools (KAIZEN, LEAN, 5S, etc.)
Bonus: Knowledge of Finished Vehicle Logistics management
