Dementia Specialist - Aged Care - Perth

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Dementia Specialist to join a dedicated team in providing exceptional care to individuals with dementia within the aged care setting.

As a Dementia Specialist, you will play a crucial role in improving the quality of life for residents and supporting their families.

The Role:

Provide comprehensive guidance and education to staff members on evidencebased behavior management techniques and interventions for residents with dementia.
Collaborate closely with residents and their families to identify individual goals, preferences, and needs, and develop personalized behavior management plans.
Plan, implement, and regularly review Behavior and Support Plans for residents, ensuring they are personcentered, effective, and regularly evaluated for efficacy.
Serve as an expert resource on dementia, offering support, training, and mentorship to staff members, promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
