The Head of Invest Governance is a key role in the Investment Management and Delivery Office, where you will be responsible for strengthening our delivery governance to ensure we are meeting our commitments.

In this role, you will be responsible for evolving our Enterprise Value Management framework, assuring the benefits of investments, and managing the associated governance Check-Point processes (including our Investment Checkpoint framework)

The Head of Investment Governance is critical to making this happen and will be responsible for:
Evolving the maturity of ANZ's approach to Value Management across the Enterprise
Assuring benefits of our investment
Managing end-to-end checkpoint governance
Managing the Enterprise Operational Metrics reporting
Maintaining the ANZ investment and Governance frameworks
Supporting the Head of Investment Management to manage the investment allocation for our Portfolios
Leading a small team to deliver business outcomes


Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008


Role Type:
Permanent, Full-Time opportunity (40 hours/week)

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong experience in working in either Enterprise or Divisional PMOs
A strong Finance background including experience in being able to navigate financials systems in order conduct assurance activities
An understanding of the impact of planning and performance on strategy, change, transformation and business outcomes
Experience in establishing governance and assurance practices
Experience in managing processes to track performance and value realisation on investment


Strong written, verbal and communication skills: to translate complex information into insights to support decision making for Senior Executives
An ability to establish strong relationships with our key stakeholders in order to drive continuous improvement and work collaboratively to achieve outcomes
Experience in providing advice, recommendations and thought leadership, based on expertise and experience, to address needs
Experience leading teams, monitoring performance, ensuring alignment of work to team prioritise and supporting progression and development
An ability to manage large data sets, analyse and provide executive level insights to drive key decisions

You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
