About the role

Reporting to the General Manager - Customer Solutions, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading a large team and ensuring the overall efficient and effective management of Operations within the Tomago Parts Warehouse.

This position plays a key role in the effectiveness of WesTrac's supply chain with the warehouse operating 24/7 to service internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote and embed a positive safety culture through demonstrated safety leadership practises
Provide training and development opportunities to team members and ensure appropriate succession planning is considered
Implement Warehouse Operational strategy
Manage Warehouse results through adequate planning and forecasting; including the preparation of budgets.
Manage operational and capital expenditures
Maximise efficiency through workflow planning
Drive automation led efficiency projects
Delivering on high levels of customer performance
Work closely with all other WesTrac business unit stakeholders

Skills & Experience:

Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to execute across a large interconnected organisation
Experience working with warehousing and/or supply chain and logistics
Proven ability to influence a positive safety culture
Commercial acumen with ability to manage a cost centre and drive continuous improvement activities aimed at increasing performance outcomes
Demonstarted experience manaing standards processes, continuous improvement, reporting and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Proven ability to adopt automation and technology in an operating environment to deliver safe and productive outcomes
Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships
