Work from home up to 3 days a week and 2 days in the office

As a Standalone Payroll Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate payroll processing for our dedicated workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Standalone Payroll Specialist, you will:
- Maintain employee masterdata in our HRIS (ichris) system, ensuring accurate data for payroll, workflows, and reporting.
- Handle complex payroll calculations, including remuneration packages, deductions, reconciliations, and more.
- Process 140 employees on a fortnightly payroll.
- Enure payroll runs accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payment of employees and creditors.
- Act as the primary point of contact with the payroll vendor for operational matters and error reporting.
- Deliver tutorials and support to employees and managers on using the HRIS system and payrelated topics.
- Provide accurate advice to external stakeholders, including auditors, superannuation providers, and government agencies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong experience in payroll processing, particularly using the Chris21 software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in complex calculations and data management.
- Excellent communication skills to provide effective support and advice to stakeholders.
- Understanding of payroll procedures, industrial relations, taxation, and other relevant areas.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships and collaborate across the organization.
