About the team:


The Credit Card, Overseas Networks, Fleet, Insurance, Travel and Expense8 Team (CONFITE8) is part of the Financial and Shared Services Branch within the CFO Division.

The team has responsibility for providing the following services to the department:

  • Credit card policy, administration, and support;
  • Overseas travel policy, bookings, and system administration;
  • Domestic Travel policy, support, and advice;
  • Fleet management policy, administration, and support;
  • ComCover Insurance management;
  • Overseas Counsellors support and administration;.
  • Expense8 business support;
  • Business improvement relating to functions; and
  • Change and comms relating to CONFITE8 and financial services.

- using expense8, TechnologyOne and Excel


What you will do:

As an APS Level 4 Travel Officer, you will:

  • provide advice and assistance on domestic travel policies and procedures.
- participate in system testing.
- maintain travel profiles in CTM and Expense- assist with overseas travel admin for passports and visas.
- assist with monitoring travel compliance.

In addition to the above, as an APS Level 5 Travel Officer, you will:

  • co-ordinate overseas travel bookings for department staff including SES and Executives.
- provide training and advice to stakeholders regarding travel arrangements.
- assist with system development and upgrades.

As an APS Level 4 Credit Card Officer, you will:

  • process personal reimbursements through Tech One.
- provide assistance on credit card acquittals and reimbursements in Expense- assist with monitoring credit card compliance.

In addition to the above, as an APS Level 5 Credit Card Officer, you will:

  • complete EOM reconciliations and processes.
- review and update cardholder information.
- assist with compliance reporting.
- assist with audit requests.
- participate in system testing.
- provide training to individuals and Divisions on credit card processes.

As an APS Level 5 Fleet Officer, you will:

  • record and maintain correct data regarding the department's vehicle fleet.
- track and analyse fleet performance metrics for making recommendations for vehicle selection, maximising usage and ensuring compliance with policy.
