The Role
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager you will primarily be responsible for:

  • Providing oversight of cash flow forecasting, transactional banking, liquidity forecasting and financial risk monitoring
  • Assisting the CFO in debt raising and loan refinancing
  • Undertaking financial risk management activities including interest rate hedging and liquidity management
  • Formulate proposals for hedging to ensure compliance with hedging policy
  • Internal reporting of treasury activities to ensure appropriate visibility and oversight at executive and board levels
  • Ensuring compliance with loan covenants and internal financial controls, including preparation of all reporting required under the Group's syndicated loan facility
  • Maintaining good relationships with financiers and transactional banks
  • Periodic review and updating of treasury policies and procedures to ensure they are current and consistent with prudent and effective treasury practices
  • Chairing the quarterly Executive Treasury Committee meetings
  • Management of the Group's transactional banking facilities across all internet banking platforms to optimise efficiency and financial returns. This includes bank accounts and credit card facilities, and the completion of all bank documentation to open/close bank accounts across the Group
  • Daily management of the Group's multicurrency cash pool to ensure all businesses have the funds they need for ongoing operations
  • Management of the Group's bank guarantees and other undertakings
  • Reviewing the daily cash position to ensure its accuracy and completeness
  • Maintaining the daily cashflow forecast
  • Supervision and leadership of a small team

About You

  • Degree qualified with relevant postgraduate or professional qualifications
  • Extensive treasury experience in a large corporate environment or experience in debt advisory
  • Demonstrated treasury experience in a similar role in a large corporate environment, or experience in Debt Advisory or relevant banking (debt arrangement) role
  • Previous experience with ownership of interest rate risk management and active management of hedge portfolio is required
  • Strong knowledge of hedge accounting
  • Strong communication skills and the capability to create insightful reports and presentation to senior executives
  • The ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with external counterparties
  • A demonstrated ability to develop and enhance treasury policies, procedures and systems
  • Excellent attention to detail, alongside strong analytical and problemsolving skills
