Position Description:


Key Accountabilities:


  • Design, develop and implement the Learning and Development Strategy and Roadmap that includes broad scope of technical, professional, and corporate learning and development
  • Work with Senior Manager groups and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build and implement Learning & Development solutions in line with business strategy
  • Actively contribute to the tangible growth of people and leaders across the business, implementing innovative and pragmatic solutions with a primary focus on digital learning
  • Maintain and lead enhancements of the existing Learning Management System (LMS) and reporting systems
  • Design and operationalise short
- and long-term development priorities to support the delivery of the business objectives

  • Create and engage learning champions across the organisation
  • Support SME's in delivering statutory training requirements or other specific training material
  • Ensure all mandatory and compliance requirements are up to date and managed effectively
  • Assist in the development and management of business processes and tools
  • Source and manage external income/funding for upskilling of employees
  • Ensure that all team members adhere to policies and procedures and uphold company values to maintain a positive, workplace culture

Skills/ Selection Criteria (qualifications & experience):

  • Strong L&D foundations
  • Ability to think broadly, test assumptions and bring diverse stakeholders together for action and impact
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a customercentric environment while maintaining effective relationships with customers and colleagues to build trust and respect across all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to think on your feet and adapt when faced with hurdles/roadblocks
  • Proven ability to manage outcomes and expectations with senior business leaders and key stakeholders, maintaining strong professional relationships
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing change
  • Experience in the Administration of a Learning Management System and developing/facilitating training initiatives
  • Knowledge of industry leading training and learning & development practices
  • Relevant qualifications in Training and Assessing/Human Resources/HSEQ
  • The ability to travel on occasion
