About the role
My MSP client is seeking the services of a Technical Account Manager (TAM), they are conveniently located in Sydney's North Shore delivering the best value to their customers by taking the frustration and complexity out of the day-to-day-use of technology.
As a TAM you will help build long lasting partnerships and manage accounts by striving to understand a clients overall business requirements and technology needs, you will proactively address technology issues before they affect productivity and ensure technology operates seamlessly, as a result my client has been recognised as a Microsoft Gold Partner.
Be the Technology Champion to clients, with the full support of your team and enjoy Friday team lunches and beers after 4pm.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Build on existing relationships
- Understand clients business and align technology to their needs
- Set technology roadmap to clients business objectives
- Manage client expectations endtoend
- Travel to client sites to provide technical support and advice
- Identifying, recommending and fulfilling client needs, such as workstation purchases, managed services and projects.
- Responding to escalations from the team when required
- Fulfil Service Requests within SLAs
- Assist sales team with technical presales from time to time
- Clearly document all activities in our case management tool
- Assist with special projects as deemed by management
Key Skills
- Customer centric focused with previous customer support experience in a complex environment
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 & Azure
- Experience supporting Windows desktop environment, including Windows 7, 8 & 10
- Experience in configuration and administration of Windows Servers
- Experience with troubleshooting business internet, router and Wi-Fi issues
- Experience in configuration and administration of Active Directory domains, including Group Policies
- Familiarity with the ITIL framework
- Attention to detail & ability to work in fast paced environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Current Microsoft certifications
