Job description:

We are currently working with a client which has over 40 years of experience in Civil Construction.

Having doubled in size over the last five years and offering a strong pipeline of work, this is a great opportunity for a Civil Site Supervisor to join a dynamic working environment which rewards dedicated staff.

You'll have the opportunity to work on a broad scope of projects, including bulk earthworks, site infrastructure, construction upgrades and civil demolition.

The Role

This role will primarily be responsible for supervising and directing staff, subcontractors and suppliers on-site, toward ensuring the safe delivery of high-quality outputs on time and within budget.

Reporting directly to the Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day on-site operations.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Liaise and coordinate with internal resources and external subcontractors
Uphold and promote Work Health and Safety standards
Conducting toolbox and prestart meetings
Ensure the timely delivery of projects & maintain relevant documentation
Reporting incidents, nonconformances and participating in incident investigations where required

To be considered for this opportunity, you will have previous experience in a Leading Hand, Civil Site Supervisor or Foreman position, ideally with a trade qualification.

You'll have great leadership and communication skills, which will assist you in liaising with various personalities from trades and subcontractors to suppliers and clients.
