About the opportunity


This business critical role will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer and work closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

The Clinical Practice Advisor is most integral to the delivery of a high level of quality supports for individuals with complex needs.


The principle purpose of this role is to ensure that complex clients receive the highest level of supports within a human rights framework, that builds on an evidence-based approach focussing on increasing a person's quality of life and real goal attainment.

A day in the life as the Clinical Practice Advisor with CareChoice, some of your key tasks will include:

  • Develop, review, and manage clinical policies and procedures
  • Chair and lead clinical governance committee
  • Develop and contribute towards education and training material
  • Effectively building, maintaining and retaining relationships with the
company's clients, ensuring clients are in receipt of an excellent service;

  • Ensuring that the company is able to effectively build, maintain and retain
relationships with the company's employees.

  • Confirming the company is able to effectively build, maintain and retain
relationships with the company's stakeholders (new and existing).

  • Ensuring that CareChoice clients' needs are met in a way that improves
customer satisfaction and enhances service delivery.

  • Confirming the company's services are delivered at best practise standards,
by continuously seeking to improve service delivery and streamlining
business operations.

  • Ensuring effective risk management strategies are in place and practised
for all service provision streams of the company.

  • Ensuring service delivery complies with industry standards, HR and legal
requirements and established company policies and procedures.

  • Effective quality management systems are in place with an
emphasis placed on continuous quality improvement for the company
- leading audits as required (including but not exclusive to DHHS standards,
NDIS legislation, ISO9001 and NQS).

  • A clear desire and active contribution towards building and increasing the
company's client portfolio.

  • Ensuring that all company work practices are in line with budgetary
specifications.

  • Providing effective leadership and delegation to team members with a
strong focus on a positive company culture.

  • The role of Clinical Practice Advisor occasionally requires and includes on call duties, _as per the on call 2nd line call roster._
