Your new role

The Portfolio Manager, Cash Management role will be accountable for the portfolio decision making across three distinct cash portfolio strategies within the FICC universe.

The role will be responsible for meeting the performance and risk budgets of the cash portfolios as well as supporting the day-to-day cash liquidity needs of the Fund.


Key Areas of responsibility will be broadly across:

  • Portfolio Strategy
  • Research and macro analysis, credit assessments and issuer analysis


  • Portfolio Management

  • Implementation & management of cash strategies, portfolio management and buyside execution


  • People Management

  • Execution and management of planned team growth


  • Business Management

  • Work with the wider Capital Markets team to enhance overall cash management and investment capabilities


  • Governance & Compliance

  • Make decisions according to the Fund's Policies, Standards and Procedures and the Fund's Key Decision Registers and the delegated authorities.

What you'll need

  • Extensive financial markets experience, including the design and portfolio management of cash and/or shortend credit portfolios.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the drivers of money markets (particularly < 1yr).
  • Proven skills in portfolio construction and management of cash and/or shortend credit focused strategies.
  • Proven buyside execution skills. The role will include marketfacing dealing and execution responsibility.
  • Proven experience in managing senior stakeholders, preparation and delivery of reports, presentations and research findings.
  • Ideally, previous leadership experience, of a small highperforming team.
  • Postgraduate qualifications(s) in a technical field
  • CFA or similar.
  • Ability to work autonomously in small, collaborative teams within a changing environment.
