With a growing presence both nationally and internationally, this innovative QLD manufacturer is growing their team to support expansion due to demand for their solutions.

Located in the Northern Suburbs, this role will have a direct line report to the Financial Controller. the position is responsible for working closely with operations to produce accurate cost forecasting and commercial analysis.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Consolidating financial data and reporting for monthly results, budgets, and forecasts, including commentary
  • Risk and control assessment reporting, specifically in relation to stock procedures
  • Ensuring integrity of factory ledgers
  • Identifying and implementing cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities
  • Establishing and maintaining effective financial/management accounting controls and systems, including control process, and monitoring for factories and warehousing of stock
  • Assisting with business systems projects and system testing as required
  • Assisting the preparation of management reports, budgets & forecasts on a monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis as required
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and the general ledger for areas of responsibility, supported by high quality reconciliations to ensure a common and trusted information base
  • Assisting in the development, implementation and ongoing compliance of common processes across all manufacturing data activities
  • Assisting with purchasing and support factory staff with queries.
  • Review cost and revenue accruals, provisions, review balance sheet accounts and ensure ERP(Microsoft Dynamics) transactions are recognized in line with relevant Accounting Standard
  • Review and provide sub margin analysis on labour, materials, equipment and indirect costs

About you:


  • You hold appropriate qualifications in accounting and bring depth of experience in Management Accounting.
  • A CPA/CA or CIMA qualification will be an advantage.
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamic would be an advantage.
  • Experienced in using large corporate ERP systems and skilled in analyzing financial data.
  • Adaptable to a changing and growing environment
  • Strong communicator.
  • A keen problems solver who is committed to improvement.
