About the Opportunity

SWSLHD is recruiting for a Staff Health Nurse Manager, this is a newly created role that will transform Staff Health as a whole at SWSLHD.

You will join SWSLHD during an exiting time to embark on a change journey ensuring the Staff Health service is contemporary, staff centred, efficient and compliant.

What You'll be Doing
The Nurse Manager, Staff Health is responsible for SWSLHD wide leadership and management of Staff Health Services.

The role develops, coordinates and evaluates staff health services to ensure standardised practice and to promote a positive staff health culture.

The role leads the management and evaluation of occupational and staff health and assists in ensuring the organisation complies with NSW Health Policy Directives and related occupational Health Policies.


This role will be responsible for the successful change process in the Staff Health space, which includes consultation, transformation and best practice guidance relating to processes and procedures.

The role will guide staff and management to implement a contemporary, compliant and collaborative Staff Health Service across SWSLHD.


All staff are expected to act as an appropriate and effective role model, promoting a culture that supports practices that reflect the NSW Health _CORE values_ of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment, and SWSLHD's vision of _Leading safe, sustainable care for a healthier community_.
