    About the role

    We are seeking to appoint a few General Service Officers at our Residential Facility in Smithfield.

    About you

    To be successful in this role, you will have:

    • A current National Criminal Record Check, or be willing to apply for one
    • Completed a Certificate III in Hospitality or Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualifications
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills
    • Knowledge of Food Safety standards
    • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current HACCP guidelines
    • Experience in a wide range of cooking, diet and nutritional requirements
    • Ability to supervise and coordinate kitchen staff with their daily duties
    • Ability to work in a team in a fast paced environment

    It is desirable that you also have a current and valid:

    • RSA certificate
    • First Aid Certificate
    • Food Safety Supervisor certificate

    Position is located at our residential aged care home in Smithfield
