About the role


In this role, you will lead the Talent Acquisition (TA) team for Ampol Retail consisting of approximately 1900 stores as well as managing the Retail Corporate Recruitment portfolio.

You will drive the TA strategy and partner with the leadership team and Human Resources to drive best practice volume recruitment.


Key responsibilities:


  • Support the Head of TA in the selection, implementation and maintenance of technology
  • Evaluate current performance metrics, highlighting insights to optimise processes
- identify the attraction strategy including opportunities for talent pooling and sourcing talent

  • Provide market insights into competitors and similar industries to lead retail recruitment
  • Direct management of all senior and corporate hiring for Ampol Retail
  • Lead, coach and develop the team of TA Advisors to deliver best in class retail recruitment

About you


You will be a passionate and strategic volume talent leader who is driven to uplift capability and proactively support the business with their hiring needs.

Ideally you will have experience in implementing and upgrading technology, processes and ways of working.


Key skills and experience:


  • Tertiary qualification or relevant extensive experience in a similar role
  • Experience leading a talent acquisition team within a large and complex organisation
  • Extensive experience in high volume, multi site Retail recruitment and/or QSR
  • Experience in designing TA strategy to support business transformation and executing on strategy with tangible results
  • Handson Talent Acquisition expertise gained in diverse environments, including agency and inhouse, with a trackrecord of meeting or exceeding key recruitment metrics.
  • Endend recruiting experience using ATS / HRIS (Eg Successfactors, PageUp, Smart Recruiters)
  • Knowledge of Employment Brand Strategy & EVP creation & articulation
