About the Business


The Spark Consortium has been selected to deliver the Central Package of the North East Link Project - Victoria's biggest road project.


The Spark Consortium's Design and Construction Contractor - which comprises Webuild, CPB Contractors, GS Engineering and Construction and China Construction Oceania - will deliver the twin three-lane tunnels and key interchanges for the project.


The Central Package will be delivered as a Public Private Partnership and provides three-lane twin tunnels that will close the missing link in Melbourne's freeway network from the M80 Ring Road to an upgraded Eastern Freeway, reducing journey times and diverting heavy vehicles away from local roads.

Up to 135,000 vehicles will use North East Link every day, reducing congestion in the north-east while maintaining local roads.


About the Role

Site Administrator on the North East Link Project.


You will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support, which may include managing the day-to-day activities of team, inclusive of diary management/scheduling, communications, reporting, records management, procurement, accounts/invoices, travelling & logistics and purchasing.

Assistance may also be required in client relationship management including, events, and management meetings.

This role is pivotal in providing administrative support to the procurement/commercial team


include the following:

  • Processing and closing accounts invoices
  • Procurement activities
  • Documentation for procurement and variations
  • Communications, reporting, records management
  • Managing the daytoday activities, inclusive of diary management/scheduling
  • Travelling & logistics and purchasing.
  • Assistance may also be required in client relationship management including, events, and management meetings.
  • Managing systems and processes to enable timely and accurate administrative recording, reporting and analysis of information
  • Registering and overseeing incoming and outgoing correspondence and documentation
  • Preparing relevant documentation including assisting with the formatting/typing of correspondence, submissions and presentations
  • Maintain an effective filing/archiving system to ensure records and documents are suitably protected from damage and are readily available
  • Performing administrative tasks including data entry, budgeting and forecasting for the project, paperwork
  • Ensuring that the required materials are delivered to the worksite by liaising with suppliers
  • Preparing and issuing site instructions

About You:


  • You must be an Australian Defence Force Veteran
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage own time effectively
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Experience with JDE would be desirable; however, training is available
  • Proficient use of MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
