We are seeking a Real Estate Trust Manager or an Assistant Trust Manager in Ivanhoe Melbourne who will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of a real estate trust.

THE ROLE


The successful applicant will be responsible for managing the trust's real estate portfolio maximizing profitability and ensuring compliance with regulations whilst fostering positive relationships with investors and stakeholders.

At least ten years' experience is required.


KEY SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Portfolio Management: Real estate trust managers are responsible for managing the real estate portfolio owned by the trust. They assess the performance of existing properties, evaluate potential acquisitions or dispositions, and make strategic decisions to optimize the portfolio's performance and profitability.
  • Investment Analysis: Real estate trust managers conduct thorough analysis and due diligence on potential real estate investments. They assess market conditions, conduct financial analyses, evaluate risk factors, and make recommendations on the viability of potential acquisitions or development projects.
  • Property Acquisition and Disposition: Real estate trust managers oversee the acquisition and disposition processes for the trust's properties. They negotiate purchase and sale agreements, coordinate property inspections, conduct feasibility studies, and manage the closing process. They also analyze market trends and property valuations to determine the optimal timing for property sales.
  • Financial Management: Real estate trust managers handle the financial aspects of the trust. They develop and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure that income generated from the properties is properly allocated. They analyze financial statements, prepare reports, and provide regular updates to the trust's stakeholders.
  • Investor Relations: Real estate trust managers interact with investors and shareholders of the trust. They provide updates on the trust's performance, answer investor inquiries, and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders. They may also participate in investor presentations, conferences, and meetings to attract new investors and retain existing ones.
  • Legal and Compliance: Real estate trust managers ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. They stay updated on legal requirements related to real estate investments, property management, leasing, and financing. They work closely with legal counsel to draft and review contracts, leases, and other legal documents.
  • Risk Management: Real estate trust managers are responsible for managing and mitigating risks associated with the trust's properties.   • Living in Australia ( Melbourne)
  • Minimum Certificate IV in Real Estate or similar
  • Reliable
  • At least 10 years experience as a Property Manager
  • Fit and healthy
  • Police clearance or able to obtain one
