About the opportunity:

Seeking an administrative professionals with two years of experience, available immediately for a temporary contract role

Position: Administrative Assistant

Location: Southern Suburbs - (paid parking available, or public transport)

Employment Type: Temporary, full-time

Hourly Rate: $38 + Super


Responsibilities:


  • Provide confidential administrative support to the Director, including document preparation, formatting, and editing for presentations and deliverables.
  • Coordinate team documents and liaise with key stakeholders.
  • Manage the Director's schedule, meetings, and inbox.
  • Facilitate incoming and outgoing communication and handle newsletter announcements.
  • Collaborate with relevant service providers and maintain regular followups on various matters.
  • Administer databases and registers, including data input and report generation.
  • Address conflict of interest and gift declaration queries based on the Director's guidance.
  • Perform general administration tasks such as credit card reconciliation, purchase orders, payments, and intranet updates.

Key Requirements:


  • Two years of administration experience, specifically in tasks like meeting scheduling, report generation, and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Positive attitude, effective communication skills, and a collaborative approach.
  • Reliability, diligence, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong time and workload management skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.
