    Our Client
    Our client is a leading boutique firm with large offices in Melbourne and surrounding suburbs. They have a variety of practice areas, with Family Law being one of their busiest and most successful. Their client base ranges from large corporations and high level executives, to the public. As a traditional law firm, they are seeking a career support professional to provide one-to-one support.

    The Opportunity
    As a Senior Legal Assistant, you will have an established career supporting in the Family Law space. You will have the opportunity to work with a solutions-focused and empathetic Special Counsel who is an accredited specialist and rated by Doyles Guide for multiple years in a row. As a part of a large and successful Family Law department, you can expect a buzzing, collaborative and hard-working team culture.
    Your duties will involve:

    • Inbox management and diarising key dates;
    • Liaising with staff, clients and the courts;
    • Preparing court documents, letters and memorandums;
    • Maintaining online records as well as hard-copy files;
    • Dictation;
    • Monthly billing.

    About You
    To be successful, you will have:

    • At least 4 years' experience as a Legal Assistant in Family Law;
    • Exceptional organisational and communication skills;
    • The ability to manage clients in emotional situations in a professional manner;
    • A high level of attention to detail.
