People2people are proud to be partnering with a well-established, services business within the healthcare industry, with operations across Australia and overseas.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Payroll Manager to join their high-performing team on a 24-month fixed term contract.

About the role:

Overseeing the company payroll function, including managing a team of reports
Manage the timely and accurate payment of employee renumeration and entitlements.
Coach and lead the Payroll team across multiple sites
Development and implementation of payroll strategy and systems
Keeping up to date with current payroll legislation
Review payroll policies and procedures on an ongoing basis.
High level understanding of Modern Awards and Agreements.
Perform regular quality control audits.
Other ad hoc projects and tasks within the scope of the role.

About you:

To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:

Demonstrated experience (minimum 5 years) in the position accountabilities for a large, multi-site organization.
Strong analysis and problem solving skills
An excellent eye for detail
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Excellent numeracy kills, including highlevel of investigative analysis, interpretation and critical thinking skills
Extensive knowledge of the full payroll function, procedures, legislation, and compliance.
