About the organisation
people2people have partnered with a well-established law practice based in the heart of Brisbane City.

Working alongside three barristers this practice is recognised for their broad range of expertise including but not limited to insurance, intellectual property, medical, building & construction, consumer and property etc.


About the role

Based in reception, the purpose of the Chambers Manager will be to provide a wide range of support services to three barristers and office staff.

Your duties will include but not be limited to;

  • Answering, directing and triaging incoming calls
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Booking conference rooms
  • Bookkeeping and payroll including attending to and drafting BAS & IAS
  • Events organisation
  • Creating invoices and cost disclosure letters from templates
  • Diary management
  • Collating briefs hard copies and electronic
  • Noting briefs in register
  • Chasing outstanding invoices
  • Proofreading for typographic errors
  • Mail management
  • Managing office and kitchen facilities refreshments, groceries and stationary supplies

Selection criteria
To be considered for this role you will have

  • Previous office management/legal assistant experience
  • Computer literacy (Xero, MYOB, MS Office Suite highly favorable)
  • Strong data entry and typing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Autonomy with the ability to selfmanage and work effectively
  • High levels of confidentiality
  • Strong organisational skills
