About us

The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria statutory authority, and has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state.

The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 venues, equating to approximately 90 per cent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year.

The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.
About the role

The communications adviser will assist in responding to daily operational media queries, particularly in relation to WebEx bookings for the Online Magistrates' Court.

This is an entry level communications role that will also include intranet and website updates, assisting with internal and external communications for MCV, assisting with event organisation and administrative tasks as directed.

About you
We're looking for a communications graduate who is ready to make their mark in a fast-paced broad communications role. Must be a highly skilled writer with excellent grammar and demonstrated experience writing for audience and across different channels. Experience with the Adobe suite of products would be highly regarded.
